UW Aeronautics & Astronautics

The University of Washington Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics needed to bring their website into alignment with current College of Engineering branding, update all content and media, and find content management solutions.  I customized the College templates to accommodate the high volume of content and visual imagery  the department wanted, created an easily navigable architecture, and worked closely with content providers to create compelling content for the new site.  The department hosts over 17 research labs for which I created new templates, pages and logos, organized and edited their new content and created visual aids.  I created a number of database-driven pages that can be easily updated by staff through web forms, and trained a dedicated content manager to use Dreamweaver on an advanced level.
